Conceptual Assembly: From the conceptual designs conveyed above, the device would be viewed accordingly.


Idea #1: The airfoil acts as a weather vane, transfering the motion of the airfoil to create magnets translating in and out of the copper coils, magnetic induction. Assuming direction of wind follows direction at which tower vibrates, maximizing energy to be harvested.
Idea #2: Incorporating wind and vibration (natural frequency) next design utilzes similar design of aclutch disk, dampens torque by springs and vertical wind turbines. Use incoming wind load which helps move the track and springs, creating desired oscillating motion.
Idea #3: Incorporating similar mechanism to design #2, clutch disk used to help the track oscllate whilte applying design #1 using electromagnetic induction. By stacking the so called clutch plates each plate will have electromagnets move in and out of stationary coils, generating electricity.
Idea: Inspired by parachutes, this airfoil will utilize the same drag effect as to help apply torque rotating the track while having torsion springs within the hinge to open like the "swinging doors" effect. After the airfoil reaches its original position which will be acticated by a different set of torsion springs within the support bar. This process will be repeated so long as their is a driving wind force.
